About this platform

Wrexham Council is committed to listening to the people of Wrexham. Good Involvement means that everyone in our community knows they can join the discussion about the services we design and deliver; and can help shape the future of Wrexham County Borough. We hope by taking this approach the future of services in Wrexham will be more focussed on what matters most to the people of Wrexham and, that people will know they can have their say and to work with us to make things happen together.

Your Voice Wrexham is Wrexham County Borough Council’s involvement platform. This platform is used by us to enable you to take part in all kinds of participation processes: providing ideas, voting, discussion, surveys, polls, citizen's budget, public studies, online mapping, scenario planning, support for advisory councils and committees, etc.

On our home page you can find out more about our active involvement projects.

How should I respond effectively?

We want a Wrexham where everybody knows they can get involved to influence the planning and delivery of services. People are engaged and consulted with on decisions which affect them, and where we can; we work to design and deliver services; and make things happen, together.

We deploy technology to detect campaign responses. If campaigns are detected they will be reduced to a single voice.

Hostile activities can target involvement projects in an attempt to skew the findings towards less favourable outcomes which are not in the public interest. It is in the interest of citizens and stakeholders to safeguard the process from external influence and prevent the dilution of genuine views.

Those taking part need to “think for themselves” and should reflect thoughtfully on background information provided as part of the involvement project they are participating in, before providing their feedback. You should think about the wider benefits of any proposals, how they might contribute to our shared sustainable goals and future generations and not just about the immediate individual impacts.

How do I log in to the platform?

Registering is easy. You just need to fill in your first name, surname and e-mail address. You can also use your Google or Facebook account to register. Only your surname and first name are visible to others.

You do not need to register in order to respond to a survey included on the platform as part of an involvement project; however if you do register, it will enable us to keep you updated with feedback about the difference your involvement has made.

 And finally…

Thank you for your interest and for your time. We look forward to receiving your feedback and ideas, which will help to shape Council services.
