Wrexham Youth Work Strategy 2027–2032 - Young People’s Consultation
About Our Youth Work Strategy (2027–2032)
We’re developing a new Youth Work Strategy to shape how young people in our area are supported over the next five years. This strategy will set out what youth work currently looks like locally, what young people say they need, and how we and our partners will work together to meet those needs.
Young people are at the heart of this work. The strategy outlines the pathways for young people to share their views, influence decisions, and help us review progress throughout the life of the plan. We’re committed to making sure this involvement is inclusive, accessible, and representative of all communities.
The strategy is built on evidence — including local data, insights from youth organisations, and feedback from young people themselves. This helps us identify priorities, tackle inequalities, and plan for future demand.
By setting clear objectives and working closely with partners, the Youth Work Strategy aims to strengthen youth work, improve wellbeing, and ensure every young person has access to safe, supportive, and meaningful opportunities.
