Henblas Street Area Public Realm Consultation

Please review the presentation boards and provide your comments.

Wrexham County Borough Council is undertaking a two-stage public consultation to inform new public realm designs for Henblas Street, the Hippodrome site, and Chester Street, aiming to create a high-quality, inclusive and vibrant city centre that supports both daytime and night-time activity. The process will include an initial phase of idea generation in May 2026, followed by a design review in June 2026, with engagement centred around an interactive installation at Ty Pawb to gather views from a wide range of participants, particularly children and young people. Feedback collected will be used to shape and refine designs that enhance Wrexham’s identity, improve accessibility and sociability, embrace smart city principles, and support local businesses.
